Summer
It’s finally summer here! You can see people around sunbathing on the parks or anywhere in the city with a green carpet. Plus, I am so happy that I’m done with my exam project (well, the design part anyway) and now, just working with some small paper work. At the same time, helping some classmates with their own projects as well.
+ My final exam project: A website for IT-Ped, an IT-firm in Bergen. It’s in WordPress and you can see it in action at http://www.itped.no.
Also I’m working back on my book since I have time to spare and I think I can manage to complete it before the year ends. Hooray for me! Lol! Aside from being a designer, I always wanted to be a published author as a career path. I love writing and I do love telling stories. I don’t mind saying that I have this big and quirky imagination which is my infinite source of inspiration and ideas.
By the way, here are some photos I took during my exam month:
+ Got bored so I posed unabashedly infront of the mirror and snapped a photo with my iPhone.
+ One of the two pairs of Cheap Monday jeans I recently bought. Knoizki asked me to post a picture of it.
+ Penguins in Akvariet (The Aquarium).
+ Close up shot of a penguin. Smile!
+ My handsome and loving husband, Odd! He looked somewhat tired in this picture.
+ A metallic cube placed at the center of the city park. It’s really beautiful and artistic.
+ A beautiful cherry blossom tree.
+ Chopping some firewood at my father’s place on the countryside. I KNOW, the shoes are ugly but it’s for protection.
+ My recently de-cluttered workspace.

You have some terrific photos there Charles! I particularly like the swimming penguin and Odd with the cherry blossoms behind him. And I’d love to see more detail on the metal cube in the park, what an interesting concept. Definitely a topic of conversation.

I LOVE Penguins and I always have….I had a very dear Penquin Toy as a young chld—in fact, I still have him! He is about 74 years old…(Lord Help Me), cause I was about 5 when I got him.

Hahaha Charles. I do read tweets and got this up on your updates. A while ago I just saw and posted photos (on my Tumblr) of Cheap Monday shops opening in Stockholm and Sweden and remembered you — and here you are, showing off your cool pair of CM denim. Sad news is, my 2 colored skinnies aren’t perfect on me now, after I sent them to the laundry a few times, it shrunk and my balls can’t fit on it anymore.
LOOOKING GOOD there. Did you lost weight? Sometimes doing hardwork like chopping woods can help you burn calories, hahaha.

Oh my! I guess I should be careful when I have my jeans washed so they don’t shrink.
And thank you. I am just happy that I managed to maintain my weight now since I lost 20 kilos like 2 years ago. I worked out like 4 to 5 times a day and I don’t eat like a pig anymore like I used to. When I get tempted to eat more I’ll just repeat this mantra “I love my body more than food” a couple of times in my head.
Did I just said, Stockholm and Sweden? Isn’t Stockholm is the capital city if Sweden? Hahaha I was probably asleep in my Geography Class.
Lol! Yes, Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. I am not really good with geography, but Odd is very good at it.
I envy your abilities in web design. What are you going to write about? I love the photo of the penguin up close!
Thank you Colleen! I am writing a young-adult fiction. It’s a combination of fantasy, adventure and teen romance. It’s like a cross between Harry Potter and Twilight in terms of genre. I posted an excerpt on my previous blog, but I can post another one here on a later date.

Hello Victor! Yes, we’re actually one of the first countries with civil partnerships and then last year the state turned it into full fledged marriage. Since the former had some restrictions which were totally changed/erased with the new law.
Wow, so you’re from Madrid! That’s cool since my family (on my mother’s side) came from Madrid. I am planning to travel there later to check on my roots.
Congratulations on completing the exam portion of your term, and I wish you much luck in completing the remaining papers that you have to do to book in the term. Reading school updates from blogs in general, especially when school closes for summer holidays makes me miss being in school. I do hope that you enjoy this long holiday, and you spend much of it in states of relaxation, in the company of your husband (he is handsome, by the way), or laying on the cities many green carpets.
Your work space looks so comfy. There’s always something refreshing about de-cluttering spaces! I love how you have a window (that’s what it is, right?) just in front of the sitting area, though I have to admit it makes for potential distractions if there are pretty sights outside.

Yes, it’s a window overlooking the entire city since we live in the 5th floor in a 5-storey apartment on the mountain side. It’s true that it can be a potential distraction, but at the same time a source of inspiration. I think the pros outweighs the cons. Hehhehehe.
