Gosh! I still couldn’t get a good routine with my writing (on my blog and my looooong overdue novel project) with a lot of stuff going around. I know it will happen, but as usual it takes time.
It’s been almost four months now since we moved in to our new home. I know, time flies so fast! I could still remember the stress, the bad weather and the heavy lifting like it was just yesterday. Now, I felt like I could let my hair down and relax. Allowing inspiration to seep back into my very being like water and a sponge.
Decorating our new crib wasn’t hard since I had a clear vision ever since we bought it (you can see the before photos here). My husband gave me free rein since he couldn’t be bothered with the design or how it would look like as long as it’s comfortable. He trusted me in other words. I chose the minimalistic-yet-lived-in-warmth approach. Sparsely decorated (not a lot of objects for dust to settle, which is a nightmare to clean), but with a couple of plants spread around to create this organic feeling and a good indoor air quality.

Odd and I were quite happy with the result, but there are still things needed to be done and maximised the full potential of our home. That’s all for now
