I’ve been blogging since 2005 and like Madonna, I underwent some serious reinventions. My first blog was a tongue-in-cheek personal blog called Bend It Like A Banana at Blogger/Blogpost. It could give a politically correct millennial a heart attack I tell you! I mean if there’s anything this generation (including yours truly) is good at, it’s draining every drop of potential joy out of life and replacing them with finger pointing lectures, but I digress.
After a year of using Blogger, I shifted to WordPress and started a food blog called The Queer Chef, being that I’m a hobby cook. It all went well for a year before I diverted again to a personal level and renamed it to just Charles Ravndal. Then I got hit with the writer’s block and decided to take a hiatus for almost two years. I came back, but my blog updates were sporadic and somehow lack this certain joie de vivre.
As the year 2016 came in full gear, I decided to really give blogging a shot and a new direction. Combining my love of writing, cooking, fashion, travel and photography. I could feel that I’ll be here for the long haul, putting out my thoughts into something concrete while entertaining my fabulous readers!
