A week or two just came like a blur. There were a lot of things to do and I’m doing tons of coding stuff at home lately. When I want a certain function to work, I get so fixated with the task on hand until I managed to do it. Still, I thrive when I have a myriad things to do, because I get so bored easily. Idle hands are the devil’s playground.
The previous weekend, my father went on a week vacation in Nice and since the usual cat sitter was not feeling well, we had to take in the cat in my father’s absence. The thing here is I’m allergic to cats. I get this asthma like symptoms as time goes by. I’m extremely grateful that we have wonderful neighbours who took turns in taking care of this cute furball. His name is Alpha.

On Tuesday last week, we finally got our brand new car after waiting for like three months or so. It was shipped straight from the factory in Germany and we picked it up in a BMW dealer here. We love it! Odd was ecstatic, which was a good thing because he was suffering from PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) ever since he delivered his Harley for storage until spring. He needed a new distraction!

On the same week, I travelled to another city called Kristiansand and spent two days and a night there due to work. I had a wonderful time with my colleagues, learning about the new system and such after the latest reorganisation at work. It’s also a team building with the rest of the creative team since we work independently in separate cities, but we collaborate when the need arises.

Weekend came and on Saturday, we invited some of our friends for dinner in our home. We usually hold dinner parties in order to meet our friends whom we rarely see on the daily or even weekly basis. It is a chance to catch up and also to show that we appreciate their company and friendship. Friends are one of life’s greatest treasures!
