It was a hectic September and thus the lack of my presence in the blogosphere. I was planning to update my blog once a week, but it looks like I couldn’t do it. Still it’s better to be late than never.
Anyway, here’s some rundown of my sweet September.
Tour de Nordnes
On the 2nd of September, we attended this lovely event in our neighbourhood called Tour de Nordnes. This event started three years ago by a group of fabulous friends who happened to live in Nordnes. It grew as people started to invite a friend of a friend or a relative of a relative or what have you with the main prerequisite that the person invited is a resident of Nordnes. We got our invitation through my former colleague who also happened to live in the same area, but a couple of houses or blocks away from us.
Tour de Nordnes was like a mixer of sorts where we ate entrée, main course and dessert in three different homes. As far as I remember there were like 17 hosts during the event. Being a host was purely voluntary and I’m actually listing myself as one of the hosts for next year.
The party commenced as everyone congregated at the Fredriksberg Fortress where champagne was served and the address cards were distributed. We were then grouped and proceeded to our first stop: the entrée. There was a timeframe and I think it was clever that it’s a different group of people on each course. Thus you get to socialise with a lot of people in a short time.

The whole event concluded at Verftet where there was a concert and more mingling. It was a fantastic experience especially to one’s palate and it was lovely to get to know some of our neighbours.
Media City Bergen
On Monday after that fantastic weekend, I started work in our fabulous new office. It’s sleek, modern and an epitome of Scandinavian design.

That’s all for now and hopefully my next update won’t take forever.
P.S.
